Description

I updated a working RC3 compiled using external ffmpeg 1.0.1 to the same code base but compiled usingexternal ffmpeg 1.1 (released some days ago). Any file using ac3 5.1 produce a core dump event when played locally (I normally use it to view TV).

ffmpeg 1.1 now use AV_SAMPLE_FMT_FLTP for AC3 audio.

See  https://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/ticket/2134

Now I have no audio with internal ffmpeg also. Same bug I guess.

should work now after the ffmpeg bump in master

Tested successfully the internal 1.2 version. Due to problem deb-multimedia.org pulled out the 1.1 version and will probably stay on 1.0.x at least until frodo has been fixed...

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Version changed from 12.0 "Frodo" RC3 to GIT
  • Resolution set to Fixed

Frodo will not get "fixed". If you want ffmpeg 1.2, use Gotham.
